I'm very disappointed in this version of Cartridges of the World. I own copies of the last 5 editions. But, in this latest edition there are no cartridge dimensional diagrams, plus I have noted several mistakes and omissions. (For example, on page 77 you will find the listing for the 38-49. But, the photo is a repeat of the 378 Weatherby Magnum. There are also several cartridges not listed under Dimensional Data. Like the Remington Ultra Mags other than the 300.) I also miss the occasional photo of a rifle or pistol found in previous editions. I also do not like the lack of page breaks to separate out the current cartridge listings.
This used to be a "complete reference." But, in my opinion, this version is not complete, nor is it of much use as a reference.
I think it was made to look different just for the sake of looking different. Next time, please go back to the format of the previous editions. I'll do it if you can't find anyone. :)

These comments aren't really for posting, but I didn't know how else to pass this info to you.
Page 77: 38-40 picture is same as 378 Weatherby on facing page. Use pic from page 294 (which is the same used for 44-40, close enough).
Page 331: Typo, 460 S&W case length is shown as .1.180, and 500 S&W case length should be 1.625. 2.250 is the Ctge length.
Page 421 is followed by page 424.
Page 422 is after 439.
Page 440 has notation "F.C.B. with additional text by S.S." Should it be L.S.?
Page 465 has "bras" instead of "brass" in 2nd column line 11.
